The ideal team member will possess both tax and accounting experience. Altair Group’s service offerings range from high net worth individual tax, complex multi-state business tax and trust and estate work to reviews, compilations and financial statement preparation on the accounting side.

Our client base is nationwide with concentrations in New England, New York and Silicon Valley. Our typical high net worth individual client is a technology company founder/executive/engineer, venture capital partner, angel investor or real estate entrepreneur. Our business clientele includes technology companies, real estate investors, professional service providers or entrepreneurial businesses that are growing and operating in multiple states and internationally.
As a Tax Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping clients with their complex individual and business issues.
The skills and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
· Prepare complex individual and business income tax returns
· Utilize research resources to provide a solution for identified issues
· Calculate business and individual tax projections
· Contribute to the preparation and review of client financial statements
· Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and in written form
· Participate in a wide range of projects; demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative
· Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks
· Be a detailed oriented individual
· Share and collaborate effectively with others; internally and externally
· Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
· Have a willingness to learn and contribute to the team
