Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Read and use precision measuring devices including micrometers and calipers
- Maintain FM area (clean, organized, material stored properly)
- Pull all FM stock
- Fill primary bins in Plate Stock and Receiving
- Pull plate orders in Plate Stock
- Perform cycle counts in Plate Stock
- Close out work orders
- Enter inventory transactions
- Calculate material requirements and plate yields
- Enter purchase receipt data
- Print pallet tags and content labels
- Receive all incoming material, supplies, equipment and return goods (including FM, Molded and wafers)
- Unload trailers and small package carriers
- Operate forklift
Requirements
- Previous experience working with inventory control in a manufacturing setting where high attention to detail strongly preferred.
- Accurate data entry skills.
- Previous experience or ability to pass forklift certification and successfully operate a sit-down forklift.
- Requires being able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Must be in good physical condition – sit, stand, stoop, and walk most of the day.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
