*Must be able to work Friday-Sunday*
We are looking for an employee who works at the storefront and represents Arts District Cannabis, tenders are responsible for educating consumers about the effects, benefits, and overall experience of cannabis products. Employees serve as an important guide to using cannabis products, and tailor their customer and patient services to all levels of experience.
Duties
Must be available Saturday and Sunday
● Acting as the face of Arts District Cannabis, greeting customers
● Facilitating the sale
● Educating customers about a variety of cannabis products, including flower, edibles, vapes, tinctures, topicals and concentrates
● Staying informed on new products, strains, changes in laws, and industry trends in order to provide the highest level of service to customers
● Providing recommendations on cannabis products based on customer requests
● Advising customers on proper safety measures to follow when consuming cannabis
● Assisting in various dispensary operations, including operating the cash register, making sure the floor is stocked, cleaned, and organized.
*Other responsibilities are included.
COMPENSATION:
Starting $17/hour; 90 Probation Period
QUALIFICATIONS
- Maintains strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA guidelines.
- Perform other related work as required.
- Have personal knowledge of medicinal effects of cannabis.
- Ability to communicate with other associates and customers in all situations.
- Ability to adhere to the highest customer service with staff and the public at all times.
- Ability to maintain high standards in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
- Knowledgeable on strains, genetics, growing and effects of cannabis and medication.
- Ability to use math skills for Point of Sale (POS) system and cash register.
- Needs to have high level of organization, patience, and flexibility.
· Must be 21+ and possess a current valid CA Driver’s License and reliable mode of transportation to get to facility.
· Available to work part time with flexible hours.
· Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Punctuality is very important!
