Job Summary
The mission of the Collections Security Officer is to execute video gaming collections. This position requires carrying a firearm. Successful candidates must be 21 years or older, have a valid driver’s license with a good record, and pass Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board requirements which includes fingerprinting. The position requires an individual with a strong moral character and calm demeanor to operate in a fast-paced environment, performing tasks at customer establishments while maintaining constant awareness of surroundings ensuring a secure environment. PA Act 235 certification is preferred but not required.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain strong customer service orientation.

Secure, handle, and transport currency with professionalism and precision.

Safe transport and accounting of issued funds assigned daily to resolve issues related to gaming.

Accurate and detailed record keeping of fund transactions.
- Generation and collection of machine activity reports.

Identify and troubleshoot all malfunctions and perform necessary repairs of electronic gaming devices and equipment.
- Interact with clerks, management, and customers to resolve issues.

Complete all necessary documentation for device entry and logs.

Maintain constant awareness of surroundings.

Follow all department, company, and state policies and procedures.
- Assist in other responsibilities as assigned.
Education
High school diploma or GED.
Qualifications and Experience

Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Prior experience in private security, military, or law enforcement preferred.
- PA Act 235 certification preferred but not required.
- Must be able to pass and maintain the necessary licensing for Gaming and Armed Security.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Intermediate computer skills.

Ability to read, write and use basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, managers, and across functions.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee works around equipment daily. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is exposed to moderate conditions including temperatures ranging from 50°F to 90°F. Normal conditions are climate controlled.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or craw and frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands or arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Travel
Travel within the assigned region(s) is expected for this position.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must be able to pass Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board requirements which includes fingerprinting and drug testing. PA Act 235 certification is preferred however can be obtained post-hire.
