As we continue to expand nationally, we are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Finance Department. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for supporting the Payroll Lead and processing payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner. They ensure that all employees are paid correctly and on time, and that all payroll-related taxes and deductions are calculated and paid.
Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll for multi state and multi locations.
Under minimal guidance, performs a variety of complex functions in the preparation, processing, maintenance, verification, and reconciliation of accurate wages and payroll, and maintaining payroll records for multiple pay groups and pay cycles utilizing payroll system.
Assists with overseeing the daily operations of the payroll processing.
Research complex payroll matters and take or direct corrective action.
Review and verify the accuracy of payroll registers and related reports to ensure correct data processing.
Requirements
- 3+ years in Payroll REQUIRED
- Experience with payroll processing for 300+ individuals.
- Multi-state experience highly desired.
- Experience with commission payroll process highly desired.
