Job Summary
The Sales Manager will report directly to the Head of Sales and will be crucial in driving revenue growth by overseeing and supporting a team of Account Executives. In this key leadership role, you will not only sell but also mentor and guide your team, ensuring they are equipped to expand our customer base. Your success will hinge on a proactive approach, strategic thinking, and the ability to capitalize on promising opportunities, all while fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Provide regular training and coaching to ensure the team is proficient in sales tactics and product knowledge.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Oversee the identification and development of new business opportunities through various outbound tactics, including cold calling, Zoom meetings, LinkedIn outreach, and email sequences.
- Assist Account Executives in closing deals by participating in high-level sales meetings and negotiations.
Pipeline and CRM Management:
- Build and maintain a robust and diverse pipeline of potential partners across different industries, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities.
- Ensure accurate and consistent records in the CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
Collaboration and Alignment:
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and other internal teams to stay informed on market trends, align on goals, and develop relevant relationships.
- Ensure partnership objectives align with overall organizational goals, working collaboratively with various departments to drive success.
Strategic Insights and Reporting:
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast performance, and develop strategies for improvement.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and competitive analysis to the Head of Sales and executive team.
Qualifications
Experience and Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B tech/SaaS sales, with a proven track record of managing and leading a sales team.
- Strong experience in co-selling with sales resources and managing lead funnels. Experience in payroll/HCM sales is a bonus.
- Proficient in using sales technology tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn, and outreach sequencing to optimize efforts.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on results.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
