EHC is currently looking for a HSE Coordinator for a client located in Houston, TX.
Job Role Summary:
Responsibility as a HSE coordinator is of vital importance to our client's organization. This position requires a helpful and courteous attitude and a willingness to make an extra effort to ensure that our client’s needs are met safely and Incident free. In your daily routine, you will be in direct contact with our customers, which will give you a unique perspective into their operations. As outlined in the Roles and Duties below our expectation for this position will be to meet all these requirements while striving for continued development and world class service.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in HSE is required
- High School Diploma
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provides field HSE support and guidance throughout all activities.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory HSE requirements.
- Ensure compliance with contract HSE requirements.
- Aids in the development and delivery of Operational Processes safely.
- Enforces company policies and procedures.
- Aids teams to deliver an exemplary HSE performance.
- Identifies potential and actual areas of improvement and assists in setting and formulating goals and tools for their achievement.
- Provides input to leading and lagging HSE performance measures.
- Aids teams in identifying hazards, assessing risks, and identifying relevant controls to manage and reduce these risks.
- Perform audits to measure the level of safety culture.
- Conducts facility safety audits and inspections as per audit plan.
- Provides HSE input to Management System Reviews.
- Ensures Incidents are recorded & reported.
- Prepares initial incident reports.
- Conducts immediate Incident & Near Miss investigation.
- Facilitates & takes part in High-Level Incident investigations.
- Ensures that the company safety expectations are communicated to the workforce.
- Provides training sessions as per Training Plan & Competency development requirements.
- Educates workforce on Lessons Learnt from previous & industry incidents.
- Provide immediate response in emergency situations.
- Reviews contingency drills to keep and increase staff competency.
- To aid in setting up an effective emergency response organization on site.
- Document control.
Hours of Work and Compensation:
Availability for work will have to be flexible as we provide 24/7 coverage to our clients but in general, it is 7:30 am to 4:00pm (w/ 1/2-hour lunch break), Monday thru Friday. Salary range is $60,000 - $65,000 a year depending on experience.
