Purpose of the Job: The Inspector is responsible for all assigned inspection duties. Each Inspector will be limited to specific inspection(s) based on his/her qualification.
Reports to: Director of Quality Control
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs inspections as requested based on maintenance scope
Performs proper execution of inspection and maintenance records
Maintains Calibration Program
Maintaining Strict Organization of the Library (OEM’S, Authorities’ , and Repair Station’s Technical Publications)
Liaises with Technical Data providers on ensuring the possession of the current Technical Data before performing work
Careful updates and revision control
Controlling security and access to the data
Where necessary, merging the library contents into the ERP System and/or revising the data in the ERP system
Inventories the contents and revision levels of all pages of the Manuals against, for example, and LOEP – List of Effective Pages
Communicates information regarding revisions to respective users
Archiving Work Order Packages
Provide Administrative support for the Chief Inspector (e.g. issuing PO(s) for waste material)
Work Orders
Certification of Piece Parts
Manage the Repairs Shop Calibration Program
Provide Support to the AS9110 as needed
Requirements:
Possesses either an FAA Airframe, or Airframe/Powerplant, or be eligible for a Repairman certificate upon taking the position (for final inspection inspectors)
1-3 Years of relevant Inspection Experience in Aviation Maintenance or Repair Station operations
Good communication and written skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of Military Aircraft manuals and commercial ATA Chapters
AirForce TODO experience or equivalent, preferred
Training:
Initial Training as outlined in the Training Manual
Annual/Recurrent Training as posted on the Training Log, S3RS-FM-100

Accomplishing work under EASA approval
