We are seeking a professional Logistics Coordinator - Order Verification Processer (OVP) who is enthusiastic and capable of communicating effectively with our customers at McLaren Industries. The ideal candidate can work independently, have a strong work ethic, and can develop longstanding customer relationships.
Primary Responsibility:
- The basic function of the OVP is to verify and expedite all sales orders for accuracy before shipment.
- Communicate with all warehouses to ensure shipments meet the appropriate warehouse cutoff times.
- Obtain freight-related paperwork to confirm order fulfillment.
- Ensure that we deliver the right products or services to the right address, avoid fraud and chargebacks, and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure our internal sales system, MISS, inputs have the correct information regarding payment terms, freight charge, shipping from warehouse location and special instruction for third party shipping company.
- Coordinates pick up with carrier for outbound shipment and RMA.
- Prepare all shipping related documents and log all the information in spreadsheet.
- Provides inventory control and discount.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of two years of data entry or order processing position or related experience
- Preferably in a large volume importer of parts or distribution company.
- Must have work experience with LTL carrier and/or freight forwarding companies as well as knowledge about LTL, FTL, ground shipments and international shipments.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations in an accurate manner.
- Must be detail oriented and accustomed to close follow up on all work activities.
- Must be able to make accurate and timely decisions.
- Must be able to direct the activities of sales reps in an efficient and understandable manner.
- Must be able to build and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
- Must be able to receive and understand instructions from others.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and in a timely manner.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be able to work under pressure with cut off times.
- The ability to multi-task is a must.
- Strong memory or proper recordkeeping is considered an advantage.
- Time management for daily operations is essential for distributing the workload daily.
- Basic computer knowledge is a must. Understanding how to operate a computer, navigate the internet, send and receive emails, and using Microsoft 365.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
