Position Overview:
As a Junior Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance and accounting department. You will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to financial record-keeping, data entry, and reconciliation. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in accounting and finance.
Junior Accounting Clerk Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation invoices and reports.
- Assist with monthly Petty Cash Reconciliation
- Review and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining financial databases.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Junior Accounting Clerk Required Skills
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Required Qualifications
