The 224-room HALL Park Hotel, Autograph Collection will be home to a curated collection of world-class contemporary art and will feature an outdoor pool, a 4,000 square-foot ballroom, state-of-the-art fitness center, chef-driven restaurant and lounge, and an expansive patio overlooking the upcoming city of Frisco’s Kaleidoscope Park. POSITION SUMMARY:
If a station in the wine bar is a symphony, the cocktail server is its conductor. Cocktail Servers are responsible for leading and maintaining the communication between the entire service team, while also being the primary presence. Cocktail Servers must be able to delegate and prioritize quickly and constantly. Cocktail Servers take control and ownership of every guest’s experience. Cocktail Servers have a high degree of emotional intelligence and deliver thoughtful, empathy-driven service as a result of this. They have a strong, confident presence at the table that is derived from their comprehensive wine and spirits knowledge.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and take guest orders and process in a timely manner through whatever systems are currently used in the restaurant.
- Ability to serve a large section quickly and efficiently.
- Communicating orders clearly with bar staff and kitchen.
- Maintain knowledge on all drink and food recipes.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Perform side work as assigned.
- Operate point of sale system.
- Straighten chairs and keep floor free of debris.
- Clean service area and replenish as needed.
- Bus and set tables.
- Handle cash and credit transactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Restaurant Manager and/or Director of Food and Beverage.
- Communicate with support crew and management.
- Respond appropriately to guest needs and do so with a sense of urgency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds repetitively
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of wine and other alcoholic beverages and have the ability to explain to guests.
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers and TABC license.
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous bartending, serving and/or customer service experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand and exert fact paced mobility for periods of 4 hours or more with a high energy level
- Abe able to lift 15-30 pounds, and exert fast-paced mobility between the dining room and kitchen for periods of up to 4 hours in length.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $6.00 per hour
