Job Title: Line Cook
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen. The Line Cooks are responsible for preparing smoked meats, side dishes and desserts in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and presentation, ensuring customer satisfaction through delicious dishes. Overall we want to cook with hard working fun people that like BBQ.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Cook menu items with the team. We smoke , fry and grill at Brileys BBQ
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep cook
- Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a team environment. We want to work with team players
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
