Position Summary
The DISA Coordinator is responsible for effectively managing the organization's drug & alcohol testing and DISA compliance. This position coordinates the company's random and job-specific drug and alcohol testing programs. This position acts as the organization's liaison with external contractors, internal supervisors, and employees regarding random drug testing. This position requires a working knowledge of federal regulations pertaining to drug and alcohol testing, sensitivity, and confidentiality issues and involves the exercise of considerable independent judgment and tact. This position is distinguished from other human resources management classes in that the duties relate specifically to the industry-mandated random drug and alcohol testing procedures and issues.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Oversees and coordinates random alcohol and drug testing activities and counsels managers, supervisors, and employees regarding the drug and alcohol testing program.
- Recommends and assists in the implementation of goals and objectives; establishes schedules and methods for providing random drug and alcohol testing services, implements policies and procedures.
- Monitors program performance; recommends and implements modifications to systems and procedures.
- Assists in training supervisors, managers, and employees regarding the company's drug testing program policies and procedures; interprets program guidelines to manager, supervisor, employees, and association representatives.
- Coordinates drug testing results with the Medical Review Officer; ensures proper notification and employee action.
- Maintains records and develops reports concerning new or ongoing programs and program effectiveness; maintains records for drug and alcohol testing; maintains and files reports.
- Assists in monitoring program compliance with laws, rules, and regulations related to provisions of random drug testing and related services.
- Maintains awareness of new developments in the field of random drug testing and incorporates new developments as appropriate into programs.
- Produces monthly reports and assists in maintaining current certifications for employees.
- Adhere to the Employee’s Responsibilities section set forth in Conco’s Safety Policies & Procedure Manual.

Experience & Education
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required.
Previous experience in drug testing systems, in DISA & ASAP/OSCA is a must have.
Previous knowledge of federal regulations pertaining to drug and alcohol testing is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
Must be authorized to work within the United States.
Equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Physical Requirements
Light physical effort equals frequent lifting or moving of materials up to 35 lbs.
Frequent hand to finger, handling, feel objects & tools, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking and hearing.
Physically submit to periodic drug, background and clearance screenings (employment is contingent upon favorable results)
