Housekeeping Manager
Duties:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff
- Schedule and assign tasks to housekeeping team members
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient guest service
- Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely manner
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Collaborate with maintenance department to address any repairs or maintenance issues
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, such as inspections, inventory, and staff performance
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care procedures
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of custodial practices and housekeeping management principles
