Cashier:
Takes guest’s order in a friendly and courteous manner and accepts payment from guests.
- Follows company food handling and safety procedures.
- Counts cash before and after working register.
- Recognizes, greets, takes guest order, and uses suggestive and/or upselling for every order taken.
- Uses Micro’s system to enter orders, corrects mistakes; communicates to manager when void occurs or problem arises.
- Collects payment, gives guest correct changes.
- Gives guest receipt, points out beverage and salsa bar, thanks guest, and gives proper departing comment.
- Utilizes total guest satisfaction and pleasantly/quickly corrects mistakes and answers guest’s questions.
- Maintains correct flow of orders at drive-thru window
- Uses wireless or intercom communication system to communicate with guest (drive-thru).
- Works at a pace that enables the drive-thru team to meet or exceed company service time standards (drive-thru)
- Responsible for proper cash handling and any cash shortages and/or overages.
- Cleans and sanitizes entire work area
- Regularly assists expediter and/or service assistant.
- Assists in training new cashiers
- Periodically performs additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
Cook/Prep:
Prepares, cooks, stores, and cuts whole chicken as well as other grilled products. Cleans and sanitizes entire work area.
- Follows company food handling and safety procedures.
- Rotates and organizes products in storage areas using the FIFO method of rotation.
- Inspects whole chickens and other raw meats for acceptable quality standards.
- Prepares, marinates and seasons whole chicken.
- Thaws and stores all other raw meats to projected needs.
- Maintains proper levels of whole chicken and other meats cooking throughout shift based on projections and actual business activity.
- Cooks whole chicken and other grilled products according to company standards.
- Receives orders and cuts whole chicken; arranges chicken for proper presentation on plate or in packaging.
- Cuts, stocks, and rotates all other grilled products according to company standards and projected needs.
- Monitors quality of cooked chicken; takes correct action when hold time expires or when product quality fails to meet company standards.
- Notes holding time of grilled products.
- Maintains and ensures that all cooked meat products are at proper serving temperature.
- Regularly assists expediter and burrito assembly person.
- Cleans and sanitizes entire work area including all equipment, tools, and storage containers.
- Assists in training new cooks.
- Periodically performs additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
- Stores shipments of food products using the FIFO system of rotation.
- Rotates and organizes products in walk-in using the FIFO method of rotation.
- Inspects all cold food product ingredients for acceptable quality standards.
- Prepares and packages all cold food products, according to projected needs, per company quality standards.
- Moves packaged items to proper front line and drive-thru coolers,; stacks and rotates products.
- Cleans and sanitizes entire work area including all equipment, tools, and storage containers.
- Assists in training new cold prep persons.
- Periodically performs additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
Shift Supervisor:
To supervise an assigned shift, designed to develop leadership skills required for the Restaurant Manager position.
- Directs and establishes priorities for the crewmembers during their shift. Assigns work stations.
- Coaches, counsels and disciplines crew members. Is responsible for taking appropriate disciplinary action.
- Maintains positive employee relations through effective supervision. Ensures a harassment free work environment for all employees and guests during the shift.
- Fill in for crewmembers during break periods. May cover a work station for all or part of the shift.
- Accounts for and manages all company funds during the shift. Completes safe audits, cash drawer counts, bank deposits, coin and change orders, and shift end balances.
- Completes administrative tasks required on assigned shifts.
- Prepares product orders when necessary.
- Adjust the number of employees on duty based on anticipated sales volume to maintain productivity and guest service standards.
- Orients and trains new crew members. Cross-trains crew members.
- Is accountable for proper handling of all food products. Ensures that products meet standards.
- Prevents food shortages, waste, and theft.
- Reports employee issues to the General Manager, Assistant Manager, District Manager, or Human Resources Manager, as appropriate.
- Accounts for all company funds and inventory on assigned shifts, and ensures that cash handling, banking, and security procedures are in effect.
- Ensures that service meets expectations for speed, accuracy and friendliness. Resolves guest complaints on shift. Report significant complaints to General Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Checks in deliveries.
- Ensures that shift is run in compliance with company standards and procedures.
