Outside Sales Representative
Position: Outside Sales Representative
Geography: Florida, Southern Georgia, Southern Alabama, some house accounts excluded.
*Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years sales experience or equivalent in the fields of plumbing, heating, HVAV, LP Gas and/or Water Conditioning*
Compensation: Base Salary + Commission, Car Allowance, Cell Phone, 401K

Our current geographic coverage includes Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, West Virginia and North Carolina. We are opening a new distribution center in Orlando Florida to be able to service The company was founded in 1986 with a management vision to become the premier service provider throughout the Midwest and beyond. Our headquarters are located in Coldwater, MI.
- Products Offered. Copper Tube, Copper Fittings, Ball Valves, Steel Pipe, Malleable Fittings, PVC Pipe & Fittings, Pipe Hangers, Tools, HVAC Components and Accessories and many other miscellaneous items.
- Markets Served. Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors, Small Wholesalers, LP Gas Distributors, Water Works Supply Wholesalers, Water Conditioner Dealers, Lumber Yards and Hardware organizations.
- Superior Service. The end-use application of the Company’s products occurs in a complex and challenging environment, whether involved in a new construction or remodel project. The Company believes that superior service throughout the life of the project will create a preference for ACB products and services in the future. As a result, the Company places significant emphasis on customer service programs to create a competitive environment.
- Integrated Logistics. The Company utilizes both a third party delivery network and our own trucks to ship products to our customers and enhance our “hub and spoke” distribution network. The Company is able to reach approximately 85% of our customers within 48 hours.

Basic Function: The Outside Sales Representative will have responsibility to develop a business strategy to solution sell, build relationships, increase sales with existing customers and convert new accounts to grow the overall business in his or her geography for the organization. He/she will be responsible for the measurable sales volume, pricing management inputs, contribution margin and expenses.
Specific Responsibilities: Account management, account growth planning, target setting, account conversions, product demonstrations, job site visits, creating a win/ win scenario, attending industry shows, entertainment with accounts, monthly reporting. Continuous product training. Daily travel required with some overnight as needed.
