Overview
As a Provider Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, hiring, and retaining talented providers who align with our organization’s mission and values. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process, contributing to the growth and success of our healthcare organization.
Duties
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract providers across various specialties and levels of experience.
- Utilize various sourcing methods (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals) to identify and engage with potential candidates.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for specific physician positions.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the interview process.
- Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment lifecycle, providing timely updates and feedback, including assisting with credentialing, privileging, and malpractice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment databases.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and maintain NHSC reporting to HRSA
- Coordinate Locums Tenens for various clinical departments of the hospital.
- Logistical coordination for rotating/visiting clinical students including housing, onboarding, and orientation.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute provider retention events.
- Coordinate with Medical Staff office to coordinate locums coverage and On-Call Coverage of various clinical departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree from a four-year college or university in Marketing or relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven experience as a Physician Recruiter or in a similar recruitment role within the healthcare industry.
- In-depth knowledge of physician recruitment processes, including sourcing techniques and candidate assessment methods.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
- Effective negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex employment offers.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
