Community Horizons is assisting in the recruitment process of a new caregiver for a young lady living in the Oshkosh area. This is a school year-long job opportunity. Days off throughout the year would align with the Oshkosh Area School system.
The hours: 730a-345p
Pay: $15/hour
The position:
In this position, you would supply care and supervision for a young lady while her mother works outside of the home.
A sample day in life: Arrive and quietly greet your client (she’s not a morning person) and supply her with coffee and a meal. You will then allow her to wake up and adjust to the day. You will then suggest an outing in the community, a game, or an art project. Rainy days might include a movie and some music indoors. Some downtime may occur while the client is taking part in a favorite show or activity. The position does not involve a great deal of cleaning or meal planning. However, some toileting assistance will be necessary.
This young lady would respond very well to a college-age staff member, but anyone young at heart is WELCOME to apply!
