We utilize 1099 sub-contractors until a candidate has proven industry knowledge, a desire to grow and learn and demonstrates a precision of consistency in the performance of work. At such time the performance evaluation is satisfied, the candidate may be offered permanent W2 employment.
This job will pay for lodging and provide the tech, in addition to their pay per hour, a daily per diem ($40/day). You will be responsible for transportation, but we reimburse gas cost 75%
Some Responsibilities will include:
- Installation of CAT6 cable (terminate, label and test / certify)
- Installation of fiber optics cable (others will terminate and test)
- Installation and turn-up of network gear. (Racks, Switches, Firewalls, Routers, VOIP phones, AP's, Point of Sale Registers, etc...)
- Installation / removal of kiosks and/or drive-thru loops ( core drill, concrete saw, etc.)
- Ladder work/Lift work may be encountered (training for lifts will be provided)
- Reading blueprints and instruction manuals are used in most of our work.
- Experience is preferred but not necessary. 110v electrical experience is a plus but not necessary
Prior military experience is a plus as this job requires Charlie Mike (Continue the Mission) attitude.
Installer Level 1, Installer Level 2, Senior Technician, installer, telecommunications, cable, low voltage technician, installation technician, low voltage.
