About Evermore
Evermore Orlando Resort is an innovative 1,100-acre resort adjacent to Walt Disney World® featuring centrally owned upscale and upsized vacation rental homes, flats & villas, a luxury Conrad hotel, 36 holes of world-class Jack Nicklaus golf, and a massive 20-acre tropical beach complex around Evermore Bay, our 8-acre crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons®. The surrounding beach areas feature zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, private firepits, a lively food hall & gourmet market, a casual dining restaurant, and an event Boathouse that will provide a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings, banquets, and corporate meetings. Position Summary: A Twin View food runner plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and seamless dining experience for guests in our fine dining restaurant. Their primary responsibility is to assist the waitstaff and kitchen staff in delivering food and beverages to the correct tables in a timely and organized manner. Food Runners are responsible for following standard operating procedures, maintaining, and transporting food products, working alongside the culinary team to ensure service and quality standards, and follow state & county regulations for food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create a welcoming and attentive atmosphere, engaging with guests, and addressing their needs.
· Anticipate when guests require additional service. Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, attentive, and professional manner.
· Handle guest complaints or concerns gracefully, seeking solutions to ensure a positive dining experience.
· Communicate with other staff members to accommodate guest preference.
· Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and ensure they are accurately prepared and plated, as well as correct temperature and inform kitchen if any adjustments are needed.
· Carry plates with a steady hand to avoid spills and accidents. Deliver dishes to appropriate tables ensuring they are placed in front of the correct guests.
· Present food with proper etiquette and explain any special features or details about the dishes when required.
· Menus can be extensive and may change frequently. Runners must be well-versed in the menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods and any specials.
· Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations for all F&B outlets.
· Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure all items for a particular table are ready simultaneously to maintain the timing and flow of meal.
· Collaborate with other staff to maintain a well-organized and efficient operation, ensuring special requests for each order.
· Assist in training new staff, if required.
· Always maintain a clean and organized work area, including stocking and replenishing supplies.
· Collaborate closely with servers by assisting with their guests needs.
- Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
- Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
- Report any inconsistencies of the operation to leadership.
· Inspect final products for presentation standards prior to delivery.
- Replenish ice and maintain time and temperature sanitation standards.
- Assist with restock of inventory.
- Perform general cleaning to maintain cleanliness of work area.
- Complete side work as assigned.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
· Engage in a positive guest focused environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills and Experience
· Previous server assistant or food runner experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is required.
- Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of performing the role in a busy work environment.
· Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines
· Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
· Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems.

Physical Requirements
· Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds.
