We are seeking an Executive Chef to oversee all kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, staff management, and the maintenance of the highest food quality and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Asian fusion cuisine, creativity in crafting unique dishes, and strong leadership skills to effectively inspire and manage the kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
- Guide, train, and mentor kitchen staff, creating a positive and efficient work environment. Manage shift schedules, assign tasks, and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Develop and refresh menus to reflect our dedication to quality and creativity. Introduce seasonal specials and new dishes that highlight the best of Asian fusion cuisine with a modern flair.
- Ensure all dishes meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency. Supervise daily food preparation and cooking activities.
- Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation. Conduct regular inspections of food storage, preparation areas, and equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Address customer feedback and implement improvements as needed.
- Oversee inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients. Monitor stock levels and minimize waste.
- Develop and manage kitchen budgets, control costs, and optimize resource use. Monitor food costs and adjust recipes and portion sizes to meet financial targets.
- Implement comprehensive training programs to enhance staff skills, product knowledge, and professional growth. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements, including food safety standards and labor regulations. Enforce strict hygiene and sanitation practices in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with all local health and safety regulations.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve long-term growth and expansion objectives. Identify opportunities for business development, market expansion, and revenue diversification.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with the local community, businesses, and organizations. Represent the restaurant at community events, fundraisers, and industry functions.
- Ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire facility, including equipment, furniture, fixtures, and decor.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably with Asian cuisine.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- High energy individual who brings enthusiasm to the BOH team as well as a passion for culinary arts.
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Strong organizational + multitasking abilities and communication + interpersonal skills.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
