As a Manufacturing Telehandler Tester, your role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and functionality of telehandlers before customer release. You'll operate telehandlers, meticulously testing all functionalities, identifying defects or issues, and accurately documenting findings. Your attention to detail and thoroughness significantly contribute to overall telehandler product quality and safety. Operating telehandlers safely and controlled, you'll test lifting and lowering mechanisms, steering, maneuverability, hydraulic systems, and safety features like brakes and emergency stops. You'll conduct systematic tests, identifying and documenting defects, communicating effectively with the manufacturing team, and completing required documentation promptly. Maintaining a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols is essential. Participation in training sessions keeps you updated on new models, features, and testing procedures, while your feedback aids continuous improvement of design, manufacturing processes, and testing protocols.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, technical education or certification, proven heavy machinery operation experience, excellent attention to detail, communication skills, ability to work independently or collaboratively, and commitment to workplace safety.
Physical requirements include lifting objects up to 50 pounds, working in various weather conditions, standing, walking, bending, and climbing for extended periods, and proficiency in operating telehandlers and heavy machinery with safety and precision. Note: Additional responsibilities may be assigned to support manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
Xtreme Manufacturing produces 16 telehandler models, which are assembled and sold in North America. They also produce E-Z Loader truck beds at their headquarters and assembly facility in Henderson, Nevada.
