```Overview```
Putah Creek Council's OneCreek Seasonal Restoration Technician program is an opportunity for those interested in the field of conservation/restoration and want to gain hands-on experience working in the field. This position is entry-level, for those that need more field experience or native plant knowledge and for people interested in learning new skills that may help give them direction in their new career.
Most events will take place outside. The 2024 Summer season will run from the week of July 8th to the week of August 30th on weekday mornings. The position requires applicant must comfortable working outdoors during all weather conditions, hiking and working on slopes and rough terrain, and lifting 50 lbs.

- Ecological restoration implementation
- Site maintenance (weeding, installing irrigation and caging, etc.)
- Nursery propagation
- Networking with industry professionals
- Planting California native plants in wildlands
```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge or interest in environmental and ecological practices
- Proficiency in analyzing schematics and technical drawings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions
- Ability to work as part of a team
