Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Food Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves promoting our products, expanding our market presence, and driving sales growth. Must be able to travel frequently to New Hampshire and Maine.
Essential Duties may include:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients and maintain existing accounts
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and evaluate their needs
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure business deals
- Provide technical expertise on products and services to customers
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features and benefits
- Manage account relationships by providing exceptional customer service
Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- At least 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in the food industry or wholesale distribution.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
- Knowledge of meat products, cuts, and industry regulations is a plus.
- Knowledge of portion cutting or steak industry is a plus
