Manufacturing Engineer
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring product quality. Manufacturing Engineers needed with shop floor experience in machining and/or two writing process and operations sheets for programmers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide shop floor expertise in machining processes.
- Develop and implement process and operations sheets for programmers.
- Conduct PFMEA analysis.
- Collaborate on BOM management.
- Support new product introduction initiatives.
- Apply aerospace machining knowledge to optimize manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience with PFMEA.
- Familiarity with BOM (bill of material).
- Previous involvement in new product introduction, preferably bringing blades from another plant.
- Background in manufacturing of machined parts, particularly in aerospace machining.
- Experience working with metals such as titanium and aluminum.
- Previous experience with turbine machine parts like Blisks, vanes, and impellers for gas turbine engines.
- Familiarity with companies like Rolls Royce, Pratt, GKN, Heico, Chromalloy, et.
