Job Overview:
The Videographer works on site and operates under the direction of the VP of Marketing and/or clients & is responsible for producing high-quality audiovisual technology, video production, photography and other digital media to support marketing, communications and/or instructional priorities. The content produced will be used for a variety of audiences, social media & other platforms and outcomes.
Duties:
- Apply visual design best practice principles to the design and development of static and interactive elements (graphics, videos, animations, interactive simulations, etc.), while maintaining branding/graphics standards.
- Manage lighting, audio, video, and relevant peripherals and control computer hardware and software for preproduction, production, and postproduction activities.
- Prepare, edit, and issue finished video/multimedia projects via District websites, social media, audiovisual technology, and/or other channels.
- Manage multiple, simultaneous projects to reach targets, staying on schedule and on budget.
- Understand and maintain the branding identity strategy for programs.
- Create original content for social media campaigns, news sites, and other marketing, communications, and/or instructional materials
- Maintain current knowledge in fields related to the assignment, such as multimedia technologies, live production, audio production, video production, web development, and related computer technologies.
- Perform usability testing and quality assurance of media elements used across platforms. Ensure media is accessible for all users
- Collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, on all aspects of projects, including planning, content, production level and platforms, turnaround time, corrections, approvals and project estimates.
- Manage media and archiving project media, including log & archive materials according to established data management guidelines
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, such as camera pedestals, lighting, audio & other professional equipment
- Maintain and update equipment checklists, tracking equipment condition and availability
- Make recommendations to Supervisor when stock of parts, components, and other materials need to be replenished and when new equipment, editing platforms, etc. may be needed.
- Prepare video publishing schedules
- Prepare graphics and applicable links for email campaigns along with our in-house marketing department.
- Ability to travel to local car shows to film and gather applicable content.

Qualifications/Experience:
- College degree in media production, communications or related field is preferred; two years related experienced may be substituted in lieu of college degree.
- Expertise using Mac Operating System, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator
- Knowledge of DreamWeaver, HTML, & CSS desired
- Knowledge/experience in video production, including pre-production, shooting, editing, sound and post-production.
- Possess excellent communication skills (Written, Verbal and Listening).
- Ability to function in a multi-tasked and fast paced environment
- Operates well in a team environment
- Knowledge of Automotive Industry is a plus
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
