We are looking for a quality Maintenance Manager to contribute to White Water’s mission to deliver safe, high quality bottled water by maintaining systems, facilities, and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts; and supervising staff.
Our Maintenance Department performs a variety of tasks such as routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of:
- Bottling equipment
- Plumbing
- Building and grounds/asphalt
- Electrical
- Fleet vehicles/Forklifts
Responsibilities
- Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments; identifying problems and requirements; and performing repairs, improvements, and installation of equipment as needed
- Meets maintenance financial standards by providing and adhering to monthly budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions
- Meets maintenance financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
- Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts
- Improves function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications
- Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- Maintains a positive attitude and promotes a healthy, cohesive team atmosphere
- As the company expands, the Maintenance Manager will be expected to accomplish maintenance human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending actions; adhering to policies and procedures
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
Required
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- 2+ years as maintenance manager in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience with Mechanical, Pneumatic systems
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to work with others
- Strong work ethic and attendance
- Working knowledge of common mechanical equipment and tools
- Ability to read and understand shop manuals and schematics and apply knowledge needed for repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Preferred
- Technical expertise to install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot various electrical and electronic equipment and controls associated with production and building maintenance, including motors, pumps - including single and three phase pumps - conveyor systems, servos, steppers, contactors, relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, VFDs, proximity sensors, machine controls and process controls, circuits, and communication systems
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting, interpreting, modifying, and programming PLCs and VFDs
- Experience in Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs
- Competent in Control logic, ladder logic, Function blocks diagrams and schematics
- Ability to use forklift and pallet jack
