Cook Children's Health Care System is looking for Behavioral Therapists to join our team in the Fort Worth, TX area!
Our Behavioral Health Therapist (LPC or LCSW) provide behavioral health support to children and families at our community-based neighborhood outpatient clinics using various therapeutic interventions including individual, family therapy, supportive counseling, crisis intervention, and providing psycho-education to children 0-18 years of age coping with acute and chronic medical and mental health conditions. You will also provide ongoing supportive counseling to both the patient and families to promote wellness and maintain functional behaviors.
Hours/Location: 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri (flexible scheduling options available) Fort Worth area
Required Education, License & Experience:
- Graduate Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field.
- LPC or LCSW Licensure within the state of Texas.
- Experience working with children, adolescents and teens.
- Experience providing therapeutic interventions.
- Strong relationship building skills with the ability to plan and organize effectively.
- Proficient in the use of various computer applications.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience working in health care or multidisciplinary setting.
- Bilingual English and Spanish speaking a plus.
