Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavior intervention services to clients, following individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Collect accurate data on targeted behaviors and skill acquisition to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to monitor and document client progress and behavior data, modify treatment plans, and address any concerns or challenges.
- Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with clients, families, and other team members.
- Attend regular supervision meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA principles and practices.
- Follow agency policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other team members to promote effective collaboration and client progress
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and follow HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred)
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is an advantage
- Ability to follow directions, work independently, and adapt to changing circumstances
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Must pass a background check
- Must have a valid driver's license (if required for home-based services)
