Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CMM Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure the quality and precision of manufactured parts.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize CMM software such as Calypso and PC-DMIS to conduct measurements
- Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T codes
- Conduct quality control checks to verify parts meet specifications
- Collaborate with the production team to address quality issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of measurements and inspection results
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CMM Operator in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in using CMM software such as Calypso and PC-DMIS
- Familiarity with GD&T principles and quality assurance processes
- Ability to fabricate and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and codes standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
