Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the leasing process, from marketing and advertising to screening potential tenants and finalizing lease agreements.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Respond to inquiries from potential tenants and provide them with accurate information about the property.
- Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify income and employment information.
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are properly executed.
- Collect security deposits and rental payments from tenants.
- Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, including inspections and key exchanges.
- Address tenant concerns and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, tenant interactions, and financial transactions.
- Oversee social media accounts and resident events
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in leasing or property management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Proven sales skills with the ability to effectively market rental properties.
- Familiarity with lease contracts and the ability to negotiate terms with tenants.
- Proficiency in data entry and record keeping.
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures is beneficial.
- Familiarity with property management software such as Entrata is a plus.
