UpSwell Marketing, recipient of the Best and Brightest in the Nation award, is currently seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team. The SDR plays a crucial role in the growth of our business by supporting the National Business Development Manager through lead generation, appointment setting, and prospecting. This position is focused on generating new business opportunities by making outbound phone calls, sending emails, and identifying Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct outbound calls and send emails to potential clients to introduce our services and set up appointments for the National Business Development Manager.

Research and identify new business opportunities, including RFPs and RFIs, across various industries and regions.

Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate and current information.

Collaborate with the National Business Development Manager to develop targeted strategies for reaching potential clients.

Qualify leads based on established criteria and pass them on to the National Business Development Manager.

Track and report on sales activities and results to ensure alignment with company goals.

Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.

SDR will be responsible for averaging 125 to 150 calls weekly with 200 - 300 emails weekly.

They need to research and find companies to ensure they are targeting higher potential spend companies.

Phone calls could contribute to monthly commission metrics, albeit a smaller part of the overall evaluation.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience in sales, telemarketing, or a related role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High level of motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Knowledge of RFP/RFI processes is a plus.
