Do you take pride in your work and like working with your hands? We are currently hiring for a Forklift Operator, responsible for shipping, receiving and material handling of our custom products. N. Wasserstrom is currently offering a $3,250 signing and retention bonus to eligible associates!
Responsibilities
- Receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment and other items from the warehouse.
- Operating a Forklift to pick, stage, load and stock materials, components and finished goods in and out of the warehouse in accordance with all safety and operational policies.
- Using handheld radio frequency scanners as part of our warehouse management system.
- Unloading materials and components from incoming delivery trucks and stocking in inventory locations.
- Other duties as needed.
- Overtime and weekends may be required as needed.
Qualifications
- Forklift experience and the ability to lift 75 pounds.
- 1 year experience in a warehouse and/or distribution environment including order processing, inventory control and receipts (preferred)
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to peers and management.
- Self-starter, who can work independently and, in a team, to achieve all necessary tasks.
