Discovering your exciting role
The Project Coordinator will work directly with the Pre-Construction team to help execute Pre-construction activities and project controls tasks required for the awarded scope of work. This position is in our Williston, Vermont office!
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Review drawings, client request for proposal and project specifications/project documentation
- Quantify and take-off for project scope
- Distribution of Shop Drawings to Vendors and Subcontractors
- Preparation of Bid Docs, RFP or similar (Request for Proposal)
- Prepare scope documents
- Estimating and scheduling (general)
- Update and Maintain Shipment Tracking Logs
- Produce and maintain tracking of Material Submittals
- Produce and maintain Change Order Requests (CORs)
- Produce and maintain Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Track and manage client produced updated project documents such as DRBs (Design Revision Bulletins)
- Participate in weekly vendor meetings (prepare/update meeting minutes)
Assist with:
- Assist with Vendor Schedule Updates
- Project Schedule updates using Excel and Microsoft Project
- Material Receiving in ERP System & Air-Table
- Preparing Material Requisition’s in ERP System
- Processing RFI’s (Request for Information)
- Preparing Submittal Documents, tracking and follow-up with the Submittal Process
- Review drawings and specifications to become completely familiar with the project
- Updating RFI and Submittal Logs
- Purchasing and preparing purchase orders
- Participate in weekly client project meetings (virtually)
- Assist the core Project Management Team in VT. Sr. Project Engineer, Project Accounting, Procurement Manager, Pre-Construction Manager.
Show your expertise:
Qualifications:
- Foundational understanding or experience in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Project and/or Program Management experience
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Outlook and MS Project) Working knowledge of PDF editor (Bluebeam) and File Sharing (Box) a plus.
- Proficiency in English language with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- High energy level, self-motivated and directed, with a keen organization and attention to details.
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of urgency.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and experience:
- Associates Degree in technical field or construction industry or equivalent experience
- 2 – 5 yrs work experience in a technical field, construction industry, collaborative team environment
- Willing to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Eager to learn a new industry
- Creative and capable of thinking outside-the-box
- Able to hold themselves accountable and takes ownership of their work
- Willing to work with us to tailor this position to meet your needs and our project goals
- Outgoing and able to communicate with others outside our organization in an effective manor
- Foundational understanding or experience with Project/Program Management
- Construction industry experience is a plus
- Willing/Able to travel for durations up to 2 weeks at a time to support project jobsite activities and develop competency with our operations (differs by project)
