Founded in 1986, Ka Hale A Ke Ola Homeless Resource Centers is a non-profit organization providing emergency shelter, rental assistance, and supportive services to unsheltered individuals and families in Maui County. Additionally, KHAKO managers a 200 unit and 30- unit Low-income rental housing facility that provides permanent housing to more than 700+ residents on the island of Maui.
Ka Hale A Ke Ola is looking for a Housing Programs Manager. The Housing Programs Manager is full-time, exempt position. The Housing Programs manager reports to the Executive Director,and Shelter Program Director.
Job Summary:
The Housing Programs Manager provides oversight, monitoring and reporting of grant requests, funding sources and internal performance for all of KHAKO to ensure funding for the facility. The Housing programs manager will provide direct supervision to all housing program(s)
staff. The Housing Program Manager will report to the Executive Director and or Shelter Program Director and work to ensure the operational success of all housing programs including, Veteran Affairs Program, Rental Assistance Program, Housing Navigation, Retention Services, Children Services, Statistical and Respite program services. This position provides oversight, supervision, training, program organization and quality control. The Housing Programs Manager will be the key contact for all daily concerns with Guests and case managers.
Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements
Bachelors’ Degree and/or degree or equivalent experience related field.
At least 10 years of prior experience working in the human services field.
