The Customer Service Representative for Radiology Billing provides effective, courteous customer service by forming a working relationship with internal and external customers through communication via email, mail or telephone with customers or company employees.
Essential Functions/Primary Job Duties
- Answers patient phone calls, resolving issues in one phone call.
- Opens ARR inquiries as needed and returns phone calls once ARR is answered to resolve issues in one phone call.
- Reports collection agency payments right away.
- Generates correspondence to resolve customer disputes.
- Documents every phone call.
- Accepts and performs other work as assigned by Customer Service Lead, Customer Service Supervisor, Regional Business Manager or Executive Team.

Work Environment
This job works in a home office environment using the standard office equipment of a computer and phone. Employees are required to show proof of home or renters' insurance when working remotely.

This is a sedentary role, sitting and/or standing at a computer for seven (7) plus hours a day.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Days and typical hours of work are Monday through Friday. The head office, located in Reno NV, is open between 6:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (PST).
Some flexibility in hours is allowed; however, all employees must be available during the “core” work hours set by the company. Schedules are set by the employee’s supervisor.
Full-time employees must work 40 hours each week. Part-time employees must work at least 20 hours per week and no more than 29 hours per week.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- High School education or associate degree or equivalent from college or technical school.
- Two years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least two year of experience working in a call center and/or customer service.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience in the medical billing field.
- Computer operating systems experience in Windows 7 or Windows 10.
- Computer software programs in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to type and use a 10-key accurately.
