AOW Construction is a locally owned, highly respected, and well-established contracting company that provides a complete range of construction management and general contracting services to multiple market segments. The Administration group is the backbone of AOW and manages several vital functions to the organization. We are seeking a Construction Project Administrator to join this group due to unprecedented growth.
The position of Construction Project Administrator is a combination of accounting, contracting, and administrative support work. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to support multiple aspects of two large scale projects AOW was recently awarded. These projects have specific administrative and reporting requirements dictated by our clients, the federal government, and several state agencies. Additionally, this position will process all submittals, RFIs, contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and assist with project close-out requirements.
The role will also include traditional project administration duties such as the compilation of client invoices as well as assists with general office support duties to include providing bid support and answering phones.
This position requires proficiency in Adobe, MS Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Timberline/Sage 300, or a similar job cost accounting software, is preferred. Experience in a previous role as a project administrator on large scale, commercial construction projects or supporting projects funded by federal or state agencies is also preferred.
