JOB PURPOSE: To elevate Curio's brand presence and customer engagement through strategic social media management and flawless event coordination. This role focuses on enhancing our social media reach, fostering meaningful interactions, and delivering exceptional event experiences. By proactively coordinating social media channels, creating compelling content, and orchestrating seamless events, the Social Media and Events Coordinator will support organizational growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Proactive Social Media Maintenance/Management
- Oversee coordinate all social media channels for Curio, ensuring regular, engaging, and brand-aligned content.
- Collaborate with the Content Manager to create and curate content tailored to each social media platform.
- Establish and nurture an influencer network and program for brand/product visibility.
- Support other departments by leveraging social media to amplify their initiatives and announcements.
- Monitor social media metrics, analyze performance, and optimize strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Ensure responses to as many messages/comments across channels (including Google messages and reviews) as possible. Coordinate with other departments to ensure as thorough and helpful of a response as possible for a positive customer experience.
- Ensure product listings are accurate and up to date on all social media platforms.
Event Coordination/Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including Author Events, Pop-Ups, Blending Classes, and more.
- Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to manage all logistical aspects of events.
- Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Coordinate Event promotion, registration, and follow-up activities to maximize attendance and engagement.
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
Additional Marketing Support
- Assist the Marketing team with campaign planning and execution, content creation, market research, data analysis, and reporting as needed.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for innovative marketing strategies.
- Update retail hours on Google in tandem with social media.
- Assist with administrative tasks and coordinate with other team members to ensure marketing projects are completed on time and within budget.
Skills and Qualifications
Required
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Later or another social management platform, Looker Studio, Meta Business Suite and other social data analysis tools.
Preferred
- Experience with photography and videography
- Basic experience with video editing
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Looker Studio
Other Requirements:
- Must be available to work some evenings and weekends as needed for scheduled events

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
