Overview: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager in Training for our large, high-end escape room facility. This role will focus on developing strong administrative skills and event planning expertise while assisting in the management and operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Assist in maintaining efficient daily operations through effective scheduling, inventory management, and record-keeping.
- Handle customer inquiries, bookings, and reservations with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Manage administrative tasks such as payroll processing, expense tracking, and reporting.
- Event Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute events, including corporate team-building activities, birthday parties, and special events.
- Coordinate event logistics, including room setup, catering arrangements, and audiovisual equipment.
- Ensure events run smoothly by overseeing staff assignments, participant registration, and timely communication with clients.
- Staff Supervision and Training:
- Assist in training and supervising staff members, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and customer service standards.
- Provide leadership and support to team members during daily operations and events.
- Customer Experience Enhancement:
- Continuously strive to enhance the overall customer experience by implementing feedback-driven improvements and innovative ideas.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns raised by guests.
- Facility Maintenance and Safety:
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the escape rooms and facility areas.
- Conduct routine inspections and coordinate maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in administrative roles, event planning, or customer service management is highly desirable.
- Experience in the entertainment or hospitality industry, particularly in managing escape rooms or similar interactive experiences, is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office and booking software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
