As the Human Resources Director with Columbia Basin Care, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing human resources functions specific to Columbia Basin Care, a skilled nursing facility. Your responsibilities will encompass various HR aspects, including processing payroll, managing company benefits, overseeing federal and state compliance, 401k management, talent acquisition, onboarding and orientation processes, staffing, labor management, in-service training, wage analysis and team development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for NA Class students
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans
- Ensure legal compliance throughout HR management activities
- Maintain employee records and HR databases
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR initiatives that support organizational goals
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans
- Coordinate employee orientation programs and ongoing training initiatives
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an HR Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
