Role Description
This is a contract role for an Inventory Accountant. The Inventory Accountant will be responsible for liaising with inventory control and procurement units to ensure a seamless flow of transactional data across the organization. The accountant will also review and reconcile inventory count reports, monitor inventory transactions, balance inventory accounts, manage inventory valuation, and prepare financial statements related to inventory accuracy. This on-site role is located in Kailua-Kona, HI. This role has potential of becoming a permanent part-time role depending on experience with a remote component.
Qualifications
- Proficient emotionally mature decision making
- At least an Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent background
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory accounting or a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs boxes or bags
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Basic understanding of Clover Point-of-Sale and Margin's-Edge Software is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
