Job Title: Jewelry Consultant
Job Description:
Jewelry consultants help customers find the perfect gift to suit their needs. This might include anything from engagement rings to watches to simple pendants and earrings. In addition to selling jewelry, they may also provide advice on cleaning, repairing, storing, and caring for jewelry pieces.
Jewelry Consultant Job Duties:
● Estimating retail prices based on materials used and market trends
● Providing clients with information about product care instructions and maintenance requirements for jewelry
● Explaining the differences between various types of jewelry materials such as diamonds, gold, silver, platinum, etc.
● Helping clients find the right piece of jewelry for special occasions such as engagements, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and other milestones
● Recommending appropriate styles and designs based on client preferences
● Providing customers with information about product warranties and repair services
● Suggesting jewelry pieces that match with current fashion trends
● Identifying potential problems with jewelry such as cracks in settings or loose stones

Training & Experience:
Jewelry consultants will receive on-the-job training from their employer. This training may include learning the store’s policies and procedures, as well as the products they sell. Training will also include shadowing other jewelry consultants or sales associates to learn how to interact with customers and answer their questions.
Wages: $14/ hr
Hours: Full-Time(28-40hrs)
Store Hours:
Tuesday-Friday 9am-5:30pm
Saturday 9am-2pm
Closed Sunday & Monday
