Case Manager Aide
General Description:
This full time non exempt position under the supervision of a Senior Case Manager or Program Director will assist with facilitating workshops/seminars from an established set curriculum in accordance with Company policy and contracting agency requirements. Responsible for administrative duties within the control booth, etc. Position also responsible for driving the company van to pick up/drop off clients.
A working knowledge of:
- Contracting agency Statement of Work;
- Company and contracting agency policies and procedures;
- CPR & First Aid;
- Duties and responsibilities of resident supervisors
The demonstrated ability to:
- Work a rotating schedule;
- Maintain & Clean the learning center and adjacent areas;
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing with all levels;
- Practice teamwork and manage conflict;
- Conduct investigations and submit detailed written reports;
- Identify and report problem areas timely and accurately;
- Assign and follow-up on assignments for completion;
- Establish authority and communicate for understanding;
- Drive company vehicle when required;
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships;
- Run group sessions for clients
- Meet contracting agency clearance requirements;
- Perform other duties as required by the Director
Academic and work experiences:
This position requires an Associate degree in criminal justice or a social science and at least one (1) year of relevant experience working with the offender population. Three (3) years of relevant work experience may be substituted for academic credentials. Demonstrated effectiveness in writing and oral communication; First Aid and CPR certifications (will train for certification); valid driving license and a clean driving record are required.
