AD1 Global, is currently looking for a General Manager (GM) for their Atlanta, GA property, The DoubleTree by Hilton.
The GM is responsible for all aspects of the operation including guest and employee satisfaction, financial performance, asset protection, sales and revenue generation, employee relations and delivering a return on investment to the owners.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and employees
- Responsible for maximizing revenues and flow through to GOP to meet or exceed budget
- Responsible for preparation of property budget and forecasts
- Manage labor standards and property level expenses to achieve maximum flow through to the bottom-line profit
- Explain and manage financial activities
- Participate and monitor monthly inventory of supplies and equipment
- Ensure purchases made are within budget and by approved vendors
- Promote 100% guest satisfaction throughout property
- Ensure that all guest related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with the company’s goals and objectives
- Inspect and document repairs and cleanliness of property with Eng. Dept. to ensure optimum upkeep and repair, room cleanliness and overall property appearance
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the capacity of Hotel General Manager
- Hilton experience desired
- F&B management experience is preferred
- Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English, bilingual a plus
- Ability to organize multiple projects, manage and prioritize
- Strong at performance management, staffing, management proficiency, coordination, coaching, developing standards, financial planning and strategy, process improvement, decision making, strategic planning, quality management
Other:
- Reading abilities are utilized often when reading invoices and work materials
- Mathematical skills are used frequently to perform calculations, reconcile balances, etc.
- Frequent contact with guests and outside vendors is necessary
- Strong customer service skills are required
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
