Seeking dedicated, reliable Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians for a northern New Jersey ABA therapy agency. At AG Behavioral Services, we love what we do, and are seeking others to work with us who are like-minded.
We provide in-home ABA therapy to clients throughout Bergen, Hudson, Morris, and Passaic county, New Jersey. We also shadow clients during extracurricular activities, such as gym classes and summer camp programs. Additionally, we are authorized by the state of New Jersey to have our behavior technicians serve as paraprofessionals within school districts.
We provide flexible work hours, competitive pay, and opportunities to substitute for other therapists in case of cancellations. We also offer health insurance and 401(k) benefits.
We are an extremely supportive agency that gives easy access to BCBAs and other supervisory personnel. If you are seeking your BCBA, we provide BCBA practicum hours. We have both part-time and full-time positions available, as well as weekend hours.
Duties:
- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to individuals with ASD.
- Work in clients' homes and/or in the community to implement individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Collect and graph data and track progress of clients.
- Use behavioral techniques and strategies to teach and reinforce skills.
- Assist with the development of social, communication, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including parents, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Attend client team meetings, virtual staff meetings, and in-person and virtual trainings, such as Handle With Care Training.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
- Driver's License and car.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Reliability and willingness to minimize cancellations of client sessions
