About us: Epcor Foundry is in an aluminum casting company that has served the United States of America for over three generations. We are passionate about providing solutions for our customers through state-of-the art equipment, enhanced automation, specialized engineering, and consistent high-quality products to our customers. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Foundry Business Development Representative based in the Midwest region to develop new customers throughout the Unites States.
The ability to develop business and high-level contacts within target accounts is critical to our future growth. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to identify target prospects, develop relationships and close sales. More specifically, we are looking for a person who has:
- 3-5 years in a Business Development role within a manufacturing business-to-business environment, 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing sales role.
- Prior experience planning and executing prospecting activities leading to initial and follow-up meetings.
- Proven ability to open doors and has the experience to develop a valid target list with action plan for each account.
- Prior experience participating in the proposal and quote generation processes.
- Strong communication, closing, and proposal writing skills.
- Must be organized, self-driven, detail-oriented and able to work in a team-based, collaborative environment.
- 25 - 35% Travel is required.
- Experience using a CRM to manage accounts effectively.
