Synchrony is continuing to build a world-class creative organization committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Our Integrated Services team is focused on creating and producing campaigns and content for digital channels. We are seeking a Senior Motion Graphics Designer with deep experience in conceptualizing and translating ideas into stunning motion design work for digital national advertising and marketing campaigns, promos, B2B and D2C interactive marketing material, packaging, social videos, and other digitally based projects. Our ideal candidate will partner with Art Directors and Copywriters to create impactful, immersive, interactive, and experiential digital and video initiatives while designing and executing for Synchrony’s multiple business platforms as well as a variety of external brands.

Essential Responsibilities:
Establish branded motion graphics systems to play out and run through national marketing and advertising campaigns, internal projects, and new business pitches.
Sketch, storyboard, and produce motion tests.
Demonstrate creative thinking with a clear understanding of the design process.
Maintain brand consistency, while looking for ways to elevate the brand and keep it fresh.
Responsible for ensuring consistent visual design in video outputs specifically implementing and maintaining animations.
Innovate in imaginative ways, by evangelizing motion graphics as a communication tool.
Maintain exceptional design integrity and attention to detail through outstanding treatment of typography and layout.
Collaborate with the broader team, including video editors, producers, copywriters, art directors, designers, creative technologists, developers, and more.
Have command of motion, composition, color theory, and design thinking.
Foundational knowledge of motion techniques, animation, and filmmaking knowledge of file formats received and/or delivered.
Implementing industry-accepted best practices to ensure high-quality of work
Experience in digital marketing, with a background in creating content that is performance-focused.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, OR in lieu of degree, a high school diploma and 6 years of work experience in motion design and/or video in an advertising agency, digital agency, or video production company.
A minimum of 4 years of experience working in an advertising agency, digital marketing agency and/or video production company delivering high quality creative motion design work and motion graphics systems including but not limited to: Product UI, packaging elements for video such as Intros, title cards, transitions, lower thirds, end cards, etc., custom animations varying in length for social channels, digital ads and special projects across multiple platforms.
Proficient in tools similar to After Effects, Cinema 4D and the Adobe Creative Suite and industry-standard audio/visual formats
Experience with digital content management, and digital workflows.
MUST PROVIDE A DEMO REEL/ONLINE PORTFOLIO/WORK SAMPLES TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE.

Grade/Level: 10
The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
