Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct soccer training sessions for players of various ages and skill levels
- Teach fundamental soccer skills, techniques, and strategies
- Develop and implement practice drills and game strategies
- Provide guidance and feedback to players to help them improve their performance
- Organize and supervise team practices, games, and tournaments
- Ensure the safety of all players during training sessions and games
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play among players
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding player progress and team updates
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in physical education, sports coaching, or related field
- Knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and strategies
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with students of all ages
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate players
- CPR/AED certification is preferred but not required
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is a plus
Please note that lifeguarding, swimming, climbing, judo, cheerleading are not directly relevant to the position of Soccer Coach.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 5 – 35 per week
