Job Overview
As the Human Resource Business Partner, you will oversee various aspects of human resources practices and processes within the organization. You will work closely with the Director of Human Resources to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives. The HRBP guides assigned departments in managing their employees regarding recruitment, benefits, HR policies, employee relations, and compensation. Effectively utilizes all available HR metrics and other resources to develop recommendations and possible solutions to human resource issues affecting all departments. The HRBP will educate, guide, and advise employees toward thoughtful, successful outcomes. Serve as an advocate when necessary to ensure leaders provide consistent and fair application of policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify and address HR needs and opportunities
- Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing and interviewing candidates
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve retention and job satisfaction
- Guide HR policies, procedures, and compliance matters
- Administer employee benefits, including FMLA and other leaves
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
- Develop and maintain HR processes and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational policies and employment laws
- Serve as a subject matter expert for HR-related issues and provide support to management and employees
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations, change management, and HR Operations issues.
Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, training, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite with a good command of social media, including LinkedIn.·
Can use data analysis to convey meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
Excellent leadership, initiative, problem-solving, and communication skills, both verbal and written
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field; (SHRM-CP) a plus.
Experience in healthcare and union environments is desirable.
