Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services in our skilled nursing care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' mobility and function
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises upon discharge
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Utilize physiology and anatomy knowledge to address patients' needs
- Specialize in trigger point therapy for pain management
- Provide specialized care for geriatric patients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Proven experience in patient care, preferably in orthopedics or hospital settings
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Familiarity with geriatric care practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
